Zzps debt letter

Have recd a debt letter from the above on behalf of Elite Parking. Stupidly i parked on a private piece of land and got a ticket! Having read all the threads I chose to ignore it. Am a bit worried now about this debt letter and it getting out if hand ie go to court etc.

I havent acknowledged any correspondence from either party and am hoping this debt collection firm is all mouth. Anyone got any views, newby to forum!

Ignoring has not been a viable option for over two years now!

However, a debt collector can't take you to court, so all you have to worry about is a varying number of scary but ultimately toothless letters.

Which threads did you read to lead you to the decision to ignore the original PCN?

You now need to read the one thread you seemed to have missed in reading 'all the threads' - the most important and up to date piece of advice for newbies to be found anywhere on the Internet.

Go back one page to the forum index and find the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, and go particularly to post #4 which tells you that debt collectors are powerless and cannot take you to court - only the PPC or landowner can do that. Post #4 is all about debt collectors, so important you read it thoroughly.

What is the timeline of your parking event? What have you received so far from the PPC? Have you found out who the landowner is? Have you complained to them?

All this stuff is in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So after the head of the Poxborg Roxburghe hydra was severed (by them going into administration after the OFT finally committed themselves to refusing their DCA licence) we now have two organisations peopled by former Roxburghe personnel barrel-scraping for PPC's. ZZPS (of which the inimitable Gary Osner is a director - former Roxburghe MD) and SolutionLabs (run by Duane Hodges-Stubbs and Malcolm Blake both former senior managers at the stalled West Byfleet bottom-feeders). Just to make matters worse, hovering in the background is Cograd Ltd an IT service company that appears to provide services to ZZPS again manned by former Roxburghe staff. Cograd is also part of the Concilian Group which is heavily linked to Roxburghe and the HFO set-up.

Perhaps we could sum this up as more of (i.e.potentially double) the same.

My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

It's just a debt collector. If this is not the first letter then you are too late to appeal. But the answer is, ''so what'', really?

Please no updates about every letter on this thread, please please not again - you will get a silly letter chain to laugh at and you made your bed by ignoring the letters even though that was the advice two years ago!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

might have to add ZZPS and I.C.C. LEGAL SERVICES to the debt collector section of the newbies thread - post #4 ;)

IIRC ICC are a Dudley (or thereabouts) based operation and have been around for a while. They have been periodically linked to a variety to PPC's who have used them. Claim to be a "legal services" company but are not registered with the SRA or Law Society (even as an ABS). They appear - like just about every other debt collector - to be nothing more than serial forest destroyers with as much bite as a dead sheep.
