Hi all
I just wanted to let you know that today I have just cleared off £14,700 of my debts! ok I still have £17,000 left and yes I could have tried for an IVA or gone bankcrupt but I think this is the best thing for me I can now plough £500 a month to my remaining debt of £17,000 and get it cleared in around 3 years and be totally debt free and have a slightly improved credit rating!
So I am feeling very pleased thank you to everyone on this fab site who has given advice and support
 going to have a drink tonight!!

I was lucky enough to have some money invested in a house which was sold and I got £15,000 I was refused an IVA a few months ago and my debt management company told me they wanted to try for another one which would more than likely be refused then I could just go bankcrupt!
I thought thats just silly I can actually if I sit down and think about this sort this out in a way that will make me feel better clear all my debt because it was my stupid fault I got in to it in the first place and possible help my credit rating slightly!
So there goes £17,740 remaining and 3 to being debt free!!!!:TLight bulb moment  April 2006
