£155 seems like a very good price for a 1000 spring double mattress.

Look for online reviews.
Best advice I can give. Never scrimp on a mattress, you'll be spending 6 hours a day in it. One of the best investments you can make IMO.

My advice - don't buy a mattress online, go to a shop and try them.
I got a new mattress for around £400 but it is the best investment I have ever made - no more sore back if I spend over 8 hours in bed, and such a comfortable nights sleep!
Only exception to this is if it for a rarely used spare roomWeight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -

I went all out on my mattress. It's a Hypnos one, pocket springs, 10 year guarantee. Best money I ever spent.0 -
I was with a friend in S&L in Belfast looking at beds last week. The guy told her the base is the cheap bit but you need to spend on the mattress.
She got one with 2000+ spring and looks like its nearly 2 ft in height!!!0 -
£155 for pocket sprung mattress is very cheap and that's what you'll be getting, a very cheap mattress.
It's not the bargain of a life time I'm sorry to say.
Spend as much as you can not as much as you need to.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
