Surely if someone had a great business plan they wouldn't go sharing it with ransoms on the Internet?

And if u want to start a business you should be thinking about an industry you know something about, rather than just random ideas.

I would put that in a pension! Or at the very least an ISA. It doesn't really sound like you know what you should be doing business-wise atm. You need to do some serious research and find yourself a niche in the market, or an idea that already exists that you can do better than anyone else.

I'm guessing by your username that you're the same age as me. Have you thought about using that money to re-train? You're still young enough to have a second career. Plumbers and electricians earn an absolute fortune. That would be a good return on your investment.

I don't believe there are get-rich quick schemes.

Put it on a high interest saving acount while searching.
As said some other posters, don't start anything you don't like as this would fail eventually despite the idea is being the next big thing.

If you aren't experienced or you don't get that sort of money very often, I wouldn't advice playing at stock market.
