What's the deal?
Tesco Direct has slashed its price for selected versions of the board game Monopoly by up to 75%; many are now down from £24.97 to £6.24. The best thing is, these are the special edition Monopoly boards specific to cities and counties across the UK, which makes a fun change from the UK orginal London version.
What areas are included?
The following areas are available for £6.24: Aberdeen, Bath, Brighton, Bristol, Cornwall, Coventry, Derbyshire, Devon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gloucestershire, Hull, Ipswich, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Oxford, Swansea, Wigan and Worcester.
Birmingham, Jersey, Leicestershire, Nottingham, Southampton and Sunderland are also available but with only 50% off, so £12.48.
Alternatively, if you're a Londoner or want the original version, Boots is selling it at half price for £7.49 (although if you chose to buy online, postage is £2.95 unless you spend £40).
How to get it
To save the hefty £4.85 cost of delivery (unless you have a free delivery discount code) select the edition you want on Tesco Direct but chose to pick it up in store. Click on the UK area you live in and a list of stores that have it in stock plus offer the buy online and collect facility will appear. If one's a reasonable distance away, pay online then pick it up a couple of days later.
Alternatively, if the version you want is out of stock online, or there isn't a nearby Tesco offering buy and collect, double check with your local Tesco to see if it has any in stock.

Thank you! Getting the Brighton one for my parents, but again shame the Oxofrd one is out of stock, would have been great for the in-laws.0

I saw this offer last few days ago, before this was posted. Back then there wasnt many sets available at the £6 price.

At this price though, Im not surprised they sold very quickly. Good luck to the people who manage to get the one they want though!
Question is, if back in stock, will they be the same price? hopefully so, that would be great for all then.:hello:

Shopping Tips
Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -
Thanks for this. Voting for the sites to be included in our local version closes this week, but maybe at Christmas, when it comes out, this offer will be around.0

Not as cheap as Tesco's but if anybody would like the Hull edition they sell it for £19.00 (still nearly £6.00 cheaper) in the Information Lounge (between Bay Trading and T-Mobile) in Princes Quay Shopping Centre in Hull town centre.0
