    A voucher for a meal out would be good along with arrangement of a trusted babysitter eg. you or one of their family members. I would say to make sure there is a reasonable expiry date on the vouchers in case they want to wait a while before using it (I know how I felt when we had DS). But having a voucher will encourage them to make more effort to go out for some time together when they are buried under piles of nappies, washing, more washing, more nappies, even more washing, even more nappies, carrot-stained sleepsuits, nappies, washing.................;)

    As a mum I second the helping out vouchers!! that is what I would most loved to have had. also a movie night hamper would be nice!
