I actually submitted my bank statements (because VM didn't ask for it to begin with) after the survey but no didn't get asked for anything out of the ordinary.0

They asked for either August or October (not sure why) anyway I just sent them all of Spetember - December.
I've been given the green light but there is a hiccup...Of the 3 payslips I sent them, the one from September has a little error, in the "messages" section of my payslip it says "pay in bank 26/10/14" obviously this should have read 26/09/14 I didn't think anything of it at the time as I did get paid on time so it's obviously just a typo but VM asked for an explaination and have said that the underwriters might want an explaination from the payroll dept so I wait to find out it they do or not. Should know by tomorrow at the latest.
Any update on your application?0 -
I should clarify one of the reasons I sent all those bank statements is because my statements run from 14th - 13th so instead of sending 2 halfs of a month I though I'd just send them everything i requested from First Direct.0

Well im pleased to say that we got our offer though yesterday verbally and we are delighted.
I never imagined the happiness I would feel when we heard the news. A step in a direction I feared all my adult life.
I always thought I would not be able to achieve things I have. Being self employed has so many plus points but it also carries an element of worry at times.
I am so thrilled and I want to embrace this happiness with gratitude. I want to celebrate and look at all the future holds also but a key thing here is to embrace these moments now.
I am very lucky to have a partner who knows his stuff in this housing market and who seems to give me a confidence in doing things without trying.
Here we go! Thanks for all the comments and id be interested to hear how everyone is getting on. These searches are the next thing now!
