Was I contracted out?

Just a quick question. I need to find out if I have ever been contracted out. I have a statement from DWP dated Feb2014 which indicates an additional state pension of £32.91, payable on retirement, but also says that this could be lower if I was contracted out.
I don't recall contracting out and I don't have any funds which I can't account for, but would like to double check as part of my New Years sort the finances out resolution. Any ideas who to call, thanks?

You can check at these two places, each can tell you some different things:
HMRC Contracted out pensions Helpline: tells you if you were ever contracted out and if you were, which firm(s) got the money.
Future Pension Centre: can tell you for each year you worked how much you made, what NI was paid and whether that year counted towards the basic state pension. Take notes so they only have to do it once or ask for a copy of your NI record instead.0 -
Exactly what I needed, thank you0
