  • I am still going to try and stick to my BIG first milestone and close my largest interest credit card next month!

Currently Capital One is charging me a whopping 30% interest and I currently have about £1200 owing.

I am hoping to have a couple of hundred left over from this month and pay off the extra £1000 with money from next month. That's the plan anyway.

I haven't been great in repaying my debts and they still stand at around £22,500. :(

    I will get better though.

Thanks for posting - it makes an interesting read.

Good luck with the weightloss, and the DFW. I was fortunate in as much as I got a tax rebate which has enabled me to pay off my Vanquis card (59%), still got £2630 to go on a Cap1 card at 30%, but think I may be able to borrow that off my folks at 0% in the near future.

For my efforts trying to lose weight, I've got in the habit of going for a long walk each lunch time, so it's great from a health perspective and good from a debt perspective as no need to buy lunch lol.

    Keep the updates coming.
