Hello
my CSa goes straight into bank via CSa as we have no co tact with the father.
This has happened for approx 9 yrs
The amount has never changed. Do they yearly check what he's earning or is it down to me to enquire
thankyou

In my experience they do not have the resources to check the absent parents earnings every year, if you think what they have is incorrect then enquire with them and they would then possibly chase absent parent

Ok, thankyou. Looks like a phone call is in order then. Or will that make them change me over quicker to the new rules? Not looking forward to that!

Just give them a call and ask for a reassessment. You will not be moved into the new scheme because of it.

They are more often than not, not absent though, they get pushed out of the lives and just give up fighting the resident parent, they say more kids have a mobile phone than those that have contact with their father nowadays.

So they would have to tell him I've asked about it? That would not be fun , he's not a nice person to put it politely

They would just send a form that asks for his most recent 2 months payslips. If he is already contributing regularly then there should be no worries.
