Oh and I have quit smoking and gone onto e-lites which is saving me loads - next step is to quit those too but it's certainly a saving in the meantime.

Other savings made this week:
- cancelled a two-day £86 course I had booked at City Lit in March as it would have cost me about £90 in travel. I'll get about 90% of the fee back.
- emailed John Lewis about some bad service and they are sending me £15 in vouchers.
- I normally go to Starbucks once a week (I'm in counselling and usually go after my appointment) but haven't been for two weeks. I also cancelled the auto top-up on my Starbucks card.
- a button fell off a new unworn dress which has done me a favour as Im returning it to ASOS and getting a £24 refund

Total savings: about £125, plus whatever I'm saving on smoking.

well done on the other savings you have made, esp the cigs!
just a thought, have you a waitrose near your councelling? if so, you can get a free hot drink daily with their mywaitrose card.

Good point about Waitrose although there's not really anywhere to sit - I think I'm more addicted to the Starbucks 'experience' of sitting with a book and chilling. Solution: go to the library...

Rang MBNA and they said it's all fine, just will take about another 5 working days for the transfers to complete. Possibly the most helpful call centre I've ever spoken to, they were really great.
