Barclays PPI Rip off

Please help. I took a secured loan out 6 months ago which I intended to pay off when I sold my house. I also took the PPI because I thought that since the loan was secured on my house It would be the sensible option.
I have since found out that the whole amount of the PPI £6000 was lumped on top of my loan and I have to pay it even though it will be void when the loan is paid off.
I have since cancelled the PPI and they will only give me £1900 back out of over £6000.
Is there any hope?
