I am trying to put I player and sky go on my 8 yr olds new x box she has xbox live membership but it isn't coming up in the list of available apps. Any ideas

I don't blame you. Lack of good games is a real issue.
Am hoping the new Zelda will make it woth it. The previews look great. I was in Game today and they have received a playable demo but no release date. The guy I spoke to said the gameplay is amazing.
Am also waiting for Majora's Mask0 -
If I remember right, there's an 'Apps' bit, which is probably where you're looking, but that the on demand stuff you're looking for is in 'Videos'...0

Instead look in the Apps section.
BBC iPlayer and Sky apps appear on the very first page of the apps screen on my Xbox 360. They also appear in Apps > Browse Apps > TV - Sky is the only one listed and Apps > Browse Apps > Video - BBC iPlayer is listed on the first page along with 4OD, Netflix etc.0
