Nectar Hive - 10% earned on points.

i logged into my nectar account today and under offers I was able to access 'Nectar Hive'

It is offering 10% interest on saved nectar points and pays out weekly. You basically transfer your nectar points into it - and out when you want them.

I assume its relatively new, and on my second nectar card account the offer was not there - but I was able to access it after logging in and clicking the link

https://www.nectar.com/hive.snectar?method=view

Are any of you on this? I only have about £4.50 worth of points, but I am saving them for Christmas, and this might be worth a weekly check if its staying at 10%!
Wishing you all good luck!

I've just followed your link and deposited my points (just over £30 worth), so thanks...

... however, I don't see a link to "hive" in my account - does that mean I'm either not eligible, I may lose my point deposited or I just have to go via that link when I want to see or withdraw my points?

I too think I'll probably save them for Christmas... or a holiday :p
Save/Pay for wedding & honeymoon by Aug 18 = COMPLETED!
Debt free by Dec 2018 = TBD
    Savings Target by July 2019 = £20,000

    2016 Goal = Buy a house with 10% deposit : COMPLETED!
2017/18 Goals = Pay off Student Loan (COMPLETED!) & Car Loan
  • I've been doing this since the beginning of January and have had 23 points in interest, though I admit that we have been splitting our shop between Sainsbury's and Aldi so not collected as many as we normally would (have £13's worth deposited at the mo). They are going towards my Cash Free Christmas Challenge :)

Mjkpio it should be listed under bonus offers

This sounds good! I collect mine through nectar canvas & spend at Christmas, so ideal for me. Thanks

This is what I do collect through canvas but I spend them throughout the year on birthday presents etc.

I'm going to have a look at Hive to see what it is all about.

Mjkpio, when you log in via the link given by emiai the web page address ends in Login.snectar, when you log in via Nectar's Homepage and the log in icon it probably ends in Login.nectar. If so, going via the normal route wont let you into your 'Hive'.

My account now lets me access the hive via the normal route, but to begin with I had to go via emiai's link. So yes, carry on doing that and you'll be ok.

I'm loving this, my £830 quid of points is earning 10% and more importantly the points are safe if my card were to be stolen.

Just a shame I always have to search google for the link to log in. Once logged in this is the link:

    I think....

I don't have many points but I went ahead and deposited what I have :) Don't really use my nectar points as we don't buy much from Sainsbury's anymore (nothing in close proximity) but I occasionally buy lunch!

I very rarely shop in Sainsburys, but do shop at other outlets that offer Nectar points, so will just keep adding the ones I earn to the hive.

How easy is it to get the points out of hive again if you want to spend them? I'm worried I won't be able to get to them easily?!

    Many thanks.
