Does anyone know of or does Affiliate marketing and whether reasonable income can be made from this online?

Hi,

I'm currently involved in affiliate marketing. I'm very new to this whole thing, but I have been using a system called 'IPAS 2' that has really helped actually make real money from marketing online. It's a really great system cause it gives you all the tools you need to get traffic to your website/affiliate link, and how to grow your own business from scratch.

I think it can take a while for someone to really make money from affiliate marketing, but if you have the right tools, training and knowledge, as well as the right attitude, then I believe one could make a very good income from it.

It may not sound like a lot, but I think it's great to see real results from a system like this, especially I am a total newb when it comes to business and internet marketing.

Like everything else, ask the question and some people will say they made little or nothing from it. Others will say they made a bit and others will say they made a lot. It's up to you who you choose to believe.

And of course, there will be those who see your question and just see a sucker they can take money from. They'll be straight in saying they made money from a scheme/course, and for a fee you can too.

If you do want to get into Affiliate marketing remember two things.

Whatever someone is selling, you can get for free if you look around.

If someone is trying to sell you a way to make money, it's because they can't make money from it and the only way they will ever get any money from it is by convincing someone else to buy it.

I've just started trying but have only made very little - I guess I would need to post more links to get more money but I don't want to come across like I am just interested in money so I'm not really sure how to take it forward.

I think that ship has sailed.


Unless you can create an "authority-site" like MSE then you will struggle to make money.


Google are the main culprit as they have gone out of their way to effectively penalise affiliate sites from their search engine rankings.


If people aren't visiting then they're not buying.
