Has anyone won anything through Rafflecopters??

Options
Hi guys. Still pretty new to comping and have been dedicating about 45 mins or so daily to enter competitions. It's pretty easy with autofill features on the web browser to enter competitions also easy through Facebook and Twitter. Rafflecopter on the other hand seems to make you want to run through a lot of hoops and I've come across a few Rafflecopters who have some poor fields of information to enter. I think I just saw one that just said enter your name and address in full on one line. I gave up as it looked a bit odd. So my question is has anyone actually won anything from Rafflecopter competitions?

Also a big thank you to all the guys who are posting these competitions and putting all that time and effort to make it convenient for people like me.

  • Yes. I have won quite a few times on Rafflecopters and so have lots of others.

    Good luck

Thank you angiesandhu just what I was looking for. Glad to know there are Rafflecopter winners on here. Looks like I'll be doing all the Rafflecopter competitions from now on. Good luck to you too.

In general I'd say you have a better chance of winning than many "standard" comps because they are a bit of a pain to enter so there are few entries. But the prizes are generally smaller too. I've won a couple of prizes from Rafflecopters or Gleams (I don't track which) in the last few months but they both had a value of less than £10.

I'd say they're good if you're interested in nice little prizes but they will take a big chunk of your time away from bigger prizes. All depends on your priorities :D

For the ones on blogs - People win from them, sometimes they are genuine winners and not fixed ones, sometimes the prizes turn up, sometimes the prize is a little better than a second hand cosmetic sample, sometimes.

I would rather do dallies, qucker and better prizes. Rc are after all just prize draws.
Make £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.

I've won some nice prizes through the Rafflecopters.
  • Yes I won, never got the prize though. The person running it ignored all of my emails and tweets, promptly were unfollowed. I don't think they ever sent it.

I've won a few rafflecopters too. If the prize is being posted by the blogger then usually it arrives within days but often the prizes are provided by a PR company so you are asked to either reply to the blogger by email with your details so they can pass them onto the PR company or the blogger will tell you that the PR company will be in contact - but this is when problems can occur! If a prize doesn't arrive, bloggers often get caught in the middle as the PR company may not respond to them when they try to chase up your prize! This happened to me recently....I won a prize and when it didn't arrive after 30 days, I contacted the blogger, who said she would chase the PR company but after another 30 days of her failed attempts, I was basically told by the blogger 'it's not my fault - here's the PR's email - you contact them yourself'! Anyway, to cut a long story short, I ended up emailed both the blogger and the PR company and told them straight that I would be contacting the ASA if I did not receive my prize within a week of this email.....and guess what - 2 days later my prize arrived! I was pleased but it took over 3 months to arrive an cause a lot of hassle! :( Of course, there are some other lovely bloggers who will chase your prize, keep you updated and make sure you get your prize :) I know some really lovely bloggers!
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea
  • I tried a few when I first started comping but they seem to be a lot of effort and I can't really be bothered to be honest!

I never won any. But also, RC often are on Blogs and I don't feel I should enter blog comps unless they are ones I am actually interested in. That's not many as I don't read many blogs!
I just enter and forget...hoping to win something! :)
