Disappointment with gym facilities

I have a membership at a Virgin Active gym which I joined because I particularly liked some of the equipment they had in the centre.

In the last month they've been doing renovations and have taken a lot of this out so now it is much less accessible in a busy gym.

I find myself less motivated to go to the gym (unusual for January of all times!!) And feel I am paying for a service which isn't being provided anymore.

Do I have grounds for early cancellation of a 6 month contract of which I'm 3 and a bit into??

Thanks.

have they got the joining terms and conditions online?
  • Have you brought your concerns to their attention and given them an opportunity to rectify the situation? That should be your first action - they may be able to sort the problem out or offer you a discount for the period of works or give you the option to cancel.
