Hi
Wondering does anyone know how/ if it is possible to get broadband into a property on a short term basis. We are moving out soon of a property we own to a rental. Current broadband through post office. We will be going to rental for 5 - 6 months and then moving to new house.
We really would Need internet access due to work. Wondering can you get broadband in one property then transfer contract to another.
Does anyone know way round this???

I think most of the major providers will allow a transfer of a contract from one address to a new address.John0

Or there are providers like Zen who work with a rolling monthly contract.
Still need a BT line though, which is probably a 12 month minimum...0 -
I know Virgin do short term for students, not sure if they make you take the TV package as well though???0

Thanks, hoping we can sort something as do not think could do without net for 6 months0

You could take a moblle phone contract with unlimited data and tether to it as a hotspot. Might not be the quickest data, but might do short term.0

You could get a dongle instead, I think they're called mi-fis as they allow more than one device to be connected to it at a time and usually rolling contracts are available. Ihad one from Three and it was brilliant.0

Just moved PlusNet Broadband + Landline (new line connected free, new 12 month contract from movement date)
No problems everything was done as agreed on time.Be good to the young on their way up you might need them on your way down.0
