Mortgage for private landlord

Hi
Today I went to Halifax in attempt to get a fixed rate for two years for my property which my tenants currently live at the moment. They could not offer me any fixed rate mortgage product. I will have a SVR mortgage from my existing bank next month.
Now I am trying to find alternative bank that can offer me a fixed mortgage.
Should I select buy to let mortgage or remortgage when trying to compare other offers with my new SVR mortgage?
Which website is the best for me to compare?

Select "Buy to Let". Remortgage is for residential.
Not all deals are available direct or on comparisons so you may be better off speaking to an independent advisor.0 -
If he already owns the property it's still a remortgage.
You are looking for BTL remortgage products, or let to buy products from some lenders if you are buying a new main residence as well.I am a mortgage broker.
