Nope, but if you want eat healthily you shouldn't eat too much fruit due to the sugar content in most fruit. Plus cramming that much fruit into one drink is not healthy at all, it's some vitamins with a ton of sugar.0 -

Although, if you're trying to be healthy by making smoothies, I'd try and avoid loads of peanut butter/choc spread etc. Maybe just a teaspoon? I remember watching an episode of Secret Eaters where their 'healthy smoothies' were full of sugar and calories!
Try Greek yoghurt, fruit and honey if you want it sweeter. Pintrest usually has lots of good smoothie recipes.
trying to be healthy, avoid peanut butter?
do you mean add peanut butter? meridian or a no added sugar one of course, not sun pat or something grim like that0 -

no you are blending whole fruit, you are thinking of juices, which is a concentration of sugar due to the amount of juice needed to make a drink
A smoothie is a couple of handfuls of fruit blended, maybe with a little water, no different to eating it whole0 -
Frozen raspberries, yoghurt and mint leaves makes a lovely smoothie and you can add a banana or handful of oats to thicken it up a bit.
Rocket, mixed berries and apple juice is another good one, sounds strange but the combination really works.
I've tried to replicate the flavours of Innocent smoothies at home before but for some reason they never taste the same0
