I'm in again, got off to a good start today, called in Tesco and got some bargains - 4pint organic milk from £1.36 to 15p, so got 5 lots and then spent 20 minutes reorganising the freezer (also useful), a saving of £15.42 made today including £2.70 vouchers accepted so really pleased, though am sad to say no vouchers left - will have to go and have a scour on the voucher thread. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is, unless its from this forum!0

I keep forgetting I can freeze milk and have become quite anal over the use by dates. So ta for reminding me.
I have to start again but I think I may open a little savings account too, complete with pass book so I can see the savings mount. I put my other savings (I'd just started but already had £35 in my pot) in a pot and then kept dipping into it. But I do need to SEE it.
Sooo ... my pin money savings are going towards pots for the yard. I've gone from a big garden to a tiny yard and my organic fruit and veg will have to go into containers. Autumn is approaching, and so too is the ideal time to get minarette fruit trees and raspberry canes.
It's pay day on Friday. Therefore September "starts" on Saturday.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0 -
I think I'll have a go at this. Dear old Mr. T has lots of Bogofs and special offers, but I've never thought of turning them into real money. Maybe I'll shovel them into my whatever Society Savings Account.0

I didn't join this officially but started keeping track of PMS at the beginning of this month. I have been converting my savings from supermarket offers etc into hard cash which I transfer out of my purse into another one. I managed to save £29-13 this month so far, largely boosted by special offers from Boots. It's amazing how much you can save if you keep a track on it.
I intend to take the cash to the building society at the end of the month and stick it in my mini cash ISA so that I see some real benefit. Sainsbury's receipts always have a note at the bottom which tells you how much you have saved through 'multibuys' which makes it easier to calculate - I expect other supermarkets do the same.
Thanks to whoever started this PMS idea - it's brilliant and really helps me focus on keeping track of my money.0
