Weeklies? Dailies?

I am wondering why some weeklies have a weekly thread, eg. Honeybun's Tinker Tuesdays: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2994536 (so the thread is updated weekly with the new weekly comp), whereas others are posted each week on the main board???
Why are the rules not clear? There are lots of weekly comps running on Facebook, Twitter and on sites so I would like to know why some have weekly threads and some don't?
Same goes for dailies - some dailies have their own updated daily threads and others are being posted each day?

There is a thread about it somewhere, don't think anyone wanted to take the weeklies on.
