Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome to a new week, old timers and newbies alike :hello:
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
So, today I will be:
- doing a mystery shop
- doing piggy clicks and any surveys
- checking online banking
- paying last week's money into the bank
- checking "petrolprices.com" before filling the car
- doing a storecupboard meal plan for the week
- not increase my debt in any way
- be positive
Hope you all have a good day x

Hi everyone,
Today I will/have already:
- submitted 10 items on eBay (had a clearout of fabric)
- got rid of loads of stuff on freecycle (moneysaving for someone else!)
- transferred just enough cash from my salary out of my high interest account to pay the bills - and leave the rest generating interest!
- meal from the freezer for OH
- I'm off the Devon to work for a couple of days - all on expenses so no spend and get mileage paid!
- Submit timesheet and invoices for the month.
- Booked hotel in Devon via quidco, will get Nectar points on petrol for journey too, and use cashback credit card to pay the bill
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
