I would say, if you and your OH already have some good savings, that you both need pensions. As you will both have a Personal allowance in retirement. And 100 into a pension will only cost you 80.
So either of you can bung as much in now as you can, up to your annual salary really, and get the tax relief.
If you dont have a cash sum saved, then between you save 300 in cash, and 300 into a pension for the OH.0
