Super Solvitax Cod Liver Oil

Hi,

We give our dog cod liver oil. A 500 ml bottle costs between £4 and £5. However, you can buy 4L tins for horses for about £15 (i.e. 8 times as much for only 3 times the price). The packaging for both say Pure Cod Liver Oil so surely they must be the same thing shouldn't they? I called a number for Super Solvitax/Seven Seas I found on the web and the lady wouldn't confirm they were the same product or a different product. Does anyone know? I don't want to poison the dog or be ripped off either.

I would take that to mean it is suitable for human consumption so your dog will be fine .
