INCORRECT SINIZTETGUY.
1.If I didn't want to pay i would default. Which I haven't.
2.Loan wasnt affordable at beginning thats why im still paying
3.Mismanaged incorrect misguided into a situation by someone telling me I have a better chance if I done it their way.
4.With a attitude like that are you sure your not a banker?
Oh dear.
The question must therefore be asked as to why, if the loan was known to be, in your own words, "not affordable in the beginning" you agreed to take up the offer and abide by the terms and conditions?0 -

Sweetie, I don't think anyone is having a go at you personally - these are just questions we have had to answer to the PPI/mis-selling/Financial Ombudsman people ourselves.
I'm sorry if you thought I was being mean. I only meant to be honest and helpful.0 -
RuthnJasper no i totally understand i want honest and helpful answers. If it is a case that everyone thinks it was my mismanagement then i will accept that but there is a nice and helpful way about going about it and i feel the sinizterguy comment was in no way helpful nor fair. I have now looked into it and doubled checked and i actually took the flexi loan out on Aug 2007 so its likely the interest is more looking at just over £3000.
As anyones personal circumstance would change over a 7 year period its fair to say mine has. But its not the case i dont want to pay back the money i do.(Like people say i took the loan and spent the money) but i just wanted to know how i stand witht the fact
If i had a personal loan over 5 year
1.That loan would be gone and finished.
2.The repayments wouldnt have had the options to return money back into current account. Would have been a set amount but a lower amount than £160 due to the difference in interest
3.Because i couldnt reduce the debt i had thought changing it to another card would help ease the problem but caused more finacial hardship (this yes i do agree was my mismangement). I understand also that by paying the debt off but then having to use it again due to having to pay a min amount on other card, would be seen as me reusing money i couldnt afford.
4. The other question i was wondering is there some kind off interest cap i.e pay day loans now have this cap from this year about double the amount payed back.
5. I want to pay it off,i want it gone but just need some advise the best way to get it gone without getting myself in more trouble.0 -
Also I would like to add in 2012 I rung HSBC to consolidate the flexi loan to a personal loan and was refused the personal loan. Is this fair also?0
