With all due respect mjm3346, you are hardly neutral when you have committed so much time to attempt to convince other users Sprinkle are carrying out some untoward activity.
maybe you could start appreciating how many people who DO use Sprinkle are increasingly pleased with their activity.

The users of the site (prizewinners or not) have a vested interest in its promotion so when they "puff" the site there is no reason, particularly in view of past behavior, that an independent view should not be expressed.

For goodness sake mjm3364 let it go - The point of IWIWIW is to tell everyone you won a prize. Every single mention of Sprinkle lately there are 2 people getting in there. It's as if some conspiracy is being committed against The Crown!

That would be true using their share links in social media which work like referrals. However as they are not allowed in here under the forum rules, people share the comp entry without any affiliate type code attached, thus removing 'vested interest' (ie any gain in doing so). I personally would be on them like a ton of bricks if they tried to, being such a detail person lol.

Dozens of people have won. And 2 people seem to be doing little more than moaning. Neither of whom seem to be actually using the site.

Fact is lots of people winning actual delivered prizes is a rather good thing imho.

More users = faster growth of site = potential greater income and the ability to offer more or larger prizes while fewer users would = the opposite so there is vested interest for site users without any individual link being needed.

You are the one who keeps going on about them, as already pointed out I responded to your "puff" piece and don't normally make any comment on them.

FYI there are 16 currently active I have only commented on the one with the "puff" piece.
On 30 odd posts in iwiwiw apart from a "congratulations" on several the only comment aside from this thread was this one

If they ask people to post on MSE that they are winners that goes someway to explain the number of "newbie" posters who claim to have won on the site.

well duh.. that is the entire point of promotional activity for any company running competitions.

Again. MSE strictly forbids use of referral links and NONE of the competitions shared by any users for this particular site running said comps contain any referral links. This vested interest nonsense you are trawling as though it's unusual practice for comps to want us to share via social media. You of course do not use Rafflecopter of Gleam or Facebook Signin or Twitter I presume then?

You seem to be missing the point, you have made "pro" site comments that have had a response, in my post above I have shown that to be the case so there is no "jumping" on every comment about the site.

Doesn't matter what I do elsewhere I am not trying to promote a site on this forum.
  • Good grief people, can you not just let this member enjoy their win and not taint their IWIWIW thread with your bickering.
