Chicken Coops

Bit of a random question ! We are looking to buy a chicken coop, so far we've only found reasonably priced coops from company's on the mainland, and they are unfortunately charging very large amounts to courier to NI.

Can anyone recommend a supplier in NI, or the mainland that don't charge the earth to courier. Thanks

look up Hens 'N' Huts on facebook. we bought chickens from them - a very knowledgeable and well run outfit and their coops look very nice and well built (but we didn't need one)

You could have a look at willow tree cottage. I'm always seeing them at country fairs and their poultry houses look very good quality. The website is https://www.chickenhousesni.co.uk. They are in Annalong I believe but deliver all over.

They have them for sale in Dobbies garden centre....just outside Belfast. I think they were about 179. If u are looking to buy make sure they are easy to clear out of hen poo.
I have four hens and made my hen hut myself plus a huge 'run' for them which is moved daily. Very easy to make a hen hut. Ones you will buy will look pretty but I can tell you that you will have more satisfaction from making your own and saving money too. Check out youtube etc for design ideas.
