condition 4 reads:'4. This reduction is not dependent on the purchase of a complete pair of glasses (frames, lenses and professional services)'So i guess you can get your glasses from anywhere, just ask for the prescription before you leave. You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead0

im an optical assistant by law your opticians have to give you a copy of your prescription you dont have to buy glasses they have to give you one so you could get your free eye test there and then go to specsavers and buy your glasses there they have a buy one get one free (must be to same prescription as the 1st pair and upto same price) on the £75 range or above and you can have the free pair as sunglasses (FREEE!) and if you have varifocals or bifocals you get them free in the 2nd pair too! Alternatively you can get free reactions (or transitions) lenses in £75 range and above although please note reactions dont work while driving due to uva filters in windscreen! and they dont change as quick as the tv advert suggests and they still change in winter so sunglasses option probably the best and saves you more money"!Paresh wrote:D&A Opticians are offering free eye tests for anyone who prints off the voucher.
Useful for anyone who can't get their employer to pay for them...

If you're quick, you can download a free book called "Ultimate Eye Workout" on http:https://www.portalpublishing.com. At the moment it's free to download, but this will only be for a short period and then it'll be charged at the full price. There are also other books on there, such as "Ten-Minute Office Workout", "Managing Your Time" and "Buying Your First Home", which at the moment are free. All you need to do is join the site (joining is free) and then you can download as many free products as you like. There's no obligation to buy any of the priced products on the site, and your details won't be passed to any third parties. One word of warning though: if you're not using a fast internet connection, the full-colour books with photos will take a few minutes to download, but the others are quick.
Whoops, I can't find the button that let's you put your signature on the bottom, so I've just edited this post to let you know that it's my site I'm talking about! As you can see, I'm crap at technology – I can't even find the "new thread" button. Anyone know where it is? Perhaps I need an eye test ...0 -
Great! Thanks Paresh. Now I can get my wife to have her eyes tested instead of buying the ready specs in the shops!0
