PM sent. I think it's allowed by MSE as it's not publicly posting a link (which I think you can do but only on a specific board) and not disallowed by Virgin.

It's not allowed in practice as the Salesman or woman is the person who made the original connection.

Okay here are where things stand at the moment. The salesperson from Virgin has just text to advise that for 50 MBP's speed for £28.50 per month he will offer free installation and £50 credit for month three.

My query is this, can I sill avail of Guiriman's referral and or Quidco?

No and no, you can only get those deals if you go through those specific channels (email referral link/Quidco website). To me it looks you have a choice between taking the deal he's offering now (£50 for you) or seeing if you can push for more, no reason for you to get £25 less and give it to me (unless you want to, I won't say no!). You may be able to find another board elsewhere that can give you some guidance on how far you can push them.

Virgin is the way to go if you do not have/want a landline

Their customer service however is appalling

Never had any problem with Virgins customer service, they have always been quick and efficient. For really appalling customer service, try BT or Sky!
  • you lucky duck Cotta, I signed up at the beginning of December, got free installation but no £50 :(
NO MORE HANDWASH GLITCHES PLEASE :D:D
