Tesco did, or do, a similar deal which we have enjoyed in the past, very cheap and good quality as I remember, and no I don't work for tesco.

Do they tend to sell these offers in M&S food in BP stations? Thats the nearest to me without having to get into the city 20miles away

M&S food at e BP local to me doesn't do the meal deal.

And I also wondered about no veggie/fish option as well.

Please check your receipt if buying the £10 meal deal. On Wed I selected the potato rosti as my side dish and it didn't come up as part of deal. It was in the chill cabinet with all the other deal food and had a sticker stating "side" on it. It also appears on the official link posted by the OP. Luckily, I checked my receipt and took it to customer services. The lady said that a couple of other people had similar problems.

Called in Leeds City Centre This afternoon & an assistant was taking mains & sides off the shelves. Asked what the problem was & was told that they had run out of desserts! Surely they buy the same number of each category & everyone buys one of each.

The food won't be wasted it will be offered at full price.

It does seem like very bad planning though. If there was a lack of something one would have thought that they could improvise. In the past I have seen whole chickens (which on that particular weekend were not part of the offer) put out to make up for the lack of mains.

I didn't bother this time . Called in friday after work and poor selection. Asked assistant who was filling shelves if more stock saturday, she said yes. Went in early saturday, just filling up with same stuff. All what was left was the really fattening stuff like the pies, lasagne, no steaks left .

Looked in my local M&S midday today. £10 deal displayed in just one small cabinet with just half a dozen boxes of mains and a much greater number of sides and sweets. Deal doesn't end until tomorrow so lack of stock is inexcusable.
