Hi all - I posted this yesterday in the DFW Diaries but I quickly got lost - crikey it moves quickly in there! Hope it's OK to repost in the hope of getting some comments and advice.

This is my third attempt to get our debts sorted but this time it's different - I have my husband on board. For the first time ever I got him to find all of his paperwork, and we worked out a proper budget. This time he's actually keen to get our debts paid off - the difference in him is amazing! So here's my diary. I can be a bit rubbish at posting but hopefully I'll manage to keep it up-to-date.

Just a few points which might be useful:

DH is self employed, however he's currently got a year's worth lined up (at least) working for the same person most of the time, who pays on time.

The pet section is high. This is because my hobby is dog obedience, and my husband's is dog agility. The figure includes not only care for our 2 dogs, but also training and a couple of weekends away (in our caravan) for competitions. This is why there's no figure in the entertainment section or for holidays.

I need to find the APRs for the debts.

Anything left over at the end of the month will obviously go on debts!

So any suggestions gratefully received.
