stupid question re ITV text entries (that used to be online)

I'm gutted that most of the ITv shows seem to be ditching the free online entry route, however there are probably a couple of the bigger prizes that I'd still like to enter.
I know someone who won once on Real Deal and when she got the call they asked for her in person - but when I enter by text it just says to text WIN - so how do they know who to ask for if you win? Does anyone put their name at the end of the text or do you think they just call and then ask for your details? Seems a bit weird coz when my friend won she had to confirm her email, postcode etc before they confirmed that she had won.

I guess if you're texting then you'll be using your mobile and generally people don't share a mobile?
Dunno, to be honest.
They'll generally always have a "free" entry, maybe by post ... so just stock up on Blank postcards and 2nd class stamps (over the longrun it'#ll save you a fortune). I think if they don't offer a "free" entry (ie you don't need to pay £1.50 for a text plus your standard text charge) then it's classed as gambling and for that they need to get a gambling licence. (I might be wrong on that though) .. hence people always have the "No Purchase necessary" bit in the terms.0 -
Thanks for the reply, I don't know why I didn't think of that! I'm going to order a job-lot of postacrds then and stock up on second class stamps.
Thanks:)0
