HELP! Trouble providing proof of residential history

Have a bit of a dilemma, we have been approved for a mortgage and have an agreement in principal. Our offer has been accepted and the vendor is not in a chain, so is moving things forward relatively quickly.
The lender has sent back a checklist of documents required before everything is finalised, bank statements, pay slips, ETC.
They also require 3 years of residential history for my self for the past 3 years.
Prior to getting married, i had been living in shared accommodation, i had sent in copies of phone bills and car insurance documents, they have said they are unacceptable and require an official document IE bank statement, HMRC doc ETC.
I have contacted my bank, i have moved banks, following Martins advice and getting the switch fee, when i have contacted the banks for previous statements, they say they do not have any for historical addresses. HMRC said they couldnt give it me, when i mentioned freedom of information. they said to write in which would take 6 weeks to process, by that time my mortgage would have failed.

I have obtained copies of previous tenancy agreements, and historical NHS pay slips for the years they are requesting at the addresses there asking for, i have also wrote an in depth covering letter...

The mortgage company arnt being very helpful, is there anything else i can do?

Thanks in advance

Different lenders have different views on this.

You need to ask the lender what they will accept - if they will not tell you then you have a choice to make try and second guess or cancel the application and find a lender more flexible.

Not their problem. Wherever you lived you should have been registered on the electoral roll. At the very least register immediately.
