LDK Parking Fine Leased Car

Hi,
I had a parking ticket attached to my windscreen in December from LDK Security Group. I'm a sole trader and my car is leased through the business.
Unfortunately I'd left the ticket in the office over Christmas and completely forgot about it, it's now 29 days since I received it. I'm looking for advice on whether to pay the fine or not and what to do next.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you

its not a fine, its a speculative invoice !
this company cannot "fine" anybody for anything
please read the newbies thread and appeal it asap (as keeper)0 -
Are you the registered keeper of the vehicle (ie your name/address on the V5C at the DVLA)?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Well you need to find out pronto because if the lease company gets a notice from the parking scum they might just pay it and then charge you (with a hefty admin fee on top).Je suis Charlie.0 -

Do you get road fund licence reminders from the DVLA?
Or is the vehicle leased through a leasing company to your business? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I had a quick look at the ticket details online and it shows as unpaid, 1 day overdue, should I send the appeal now?0

You need to get that appeal in now to try to head them off from the leasing company, otherwise the leasing company may pay the charge direct, bill you for that, then add a hefty admin fee for the pleasure of handling all of this for you!!
So send off the initial appeal from the NEWBIES sticky - as the keeper, as it is written. Meantime contact the lease company to see if they've had anything yet from LDK - if so tell them you'll deal with it and ask them to contact LDK and name you as the KEEPER (different to registered keeper). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Is it the one which starts as follows? -

I challenge this 'PCN' as keeper of the car, on these main grounds:

Yes - that's the one. (Taking care to note Keeper rather than Registered Keeper).0
