Actifry for one?

Hi
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this so apologies if not!
I like the idea of the air fryers and would quite like to get an Actifry but I live on my own and there is only me to cook for, what do you think - is it worth it or will it be too big? I have seen an Actifry mini but can't find one in the stores to look at.
I don't actually have chips that often so would welcome guidance on what else works well in it.
Many thanks

I have used it to make a cooked breakfast just for me. Saute potatoes, chopped bacon and an egg at the end. I think it is well worth it.
chicken pieces are beautiful done in it as are sausages. Much better than oven cooked.
It is also good for reheating things easily. My favourite thing to do with mine is to cook potatoes for 10 mins, then add chopped bacon and cook for a further 8 minutes and leave over night. Then, in the morning I just switch it on for 7 minutes or so and I have a lovely cooked breakfast!Putting these winter preps here so I don't forget!

Many thanks to you both, think I may have to go for it - the breakfast idea sounds wonderful Fruball, and I never manage to cook sausages right on the grill0

I've had my actifry for a while now but recently I find foods are being broken up as they cook. Then I saw the paddle is going around in the wrong direction! ie the blunt end hits the food first and it all sort if piles up on itself. Is there something I have done to make this happen? If so how can I undo it please? It's not in warranty and I can't afford to replace it!When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0

I think mine does this too. As in it piles up and then falls over? If so, I just think that's the way it makes sure everything is cooked evenly.
What sort of things are breaking up on you?0 -
