Which lenders to approach when on fixed-term employment?

Hi,
Which lenders are likely to approve me a mortgage, when me and my partner are on fixed-term contracts?
From searching I see that Halifax and Nationwide may do, though Nationwide states you have to have been in the job for 12-months, and we've been in them for 7 months. Our previous jobs were permanent and we were in them for a few years.
