Discharged Bankrupt wanting a mortgage

I am a discharged bankrupt and have been for the last 3 years. I am due to come into some money soon and want to put down a deposit on a home of my own. Can anyone tell me a good company to get a mortgage with and what sort of interest rates i can expect to pay due to my bankruptcy. Also is it possible to just get a 10 year mortgage. I would have a 20 - 25 per cent deposit. I am also in Scotland so know it will be different to the rest of the UK. I am on my own and i do work.

I would suggest speaking to a broker.
I cant say for sure as I dont really do mortgages north of the border but im sure there will be lenders who will at least consider it.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
