Hi,
Sorry I am quite new at this I only started mid-December and have so far only won one small prize but I am still grateful
I was wondering what sort of competitions people enter and what sort of prizes you have won from them?
Where did you win your biggest win? Was it a competition on Facebook, twitter, rafflecopter or normal entry?
Can anyone give me any help with this as I'm pretty new and curious to find out which ones you have won best prizes on?
Thank you
:j

It varies so much, atm I am doing well on FB. 2014 my best wins were web entry(hotel stay/expensive radiator) and FB (cooking with Jamie). 2013 I did really well on RC (chest freezer) e-mail (fridge freezer) FB (front door) website (hotel stay). My least successful is Twitter overall but I think that is just luck atm and no actual reason.
I advise not to think about it too much, enter and forget xxxtotal wins 2013 £5500 2014 £7500 2015 £23,900 2016 £10,650 2017 £13,040 2018 £10,620 2019 £10,115 2020 £3970.00

Back Comping in 2024!0 -
My biggest wins were a £1000 hair extension service and an iPad, both web entries.
I seem to win most on Twitter though.0 -
I'm doing well with Facebook at the moment, mostly little wins, but I'm fine with that. Twitter I suck at, and in 8 months I've had one DVD win on there.
My best win came from a website calendar competition (had to upload a photo for their calendar). Prize was £650 worth of dog food.I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!0 -
I enter ones i want to win
getting thinner to find them though0 -
Hi Freya!
I still feel like a newbie as I don't spend much time as I'd like entering comps. Between the old battered iphone and a struggling 2G connection it can get rather frustrating!
I don't use Facebook anymore but never had much luck on there anyway. My best win was a Breaking Bad box set signed by Aaron Paul which I won from HMV on Twitter last Summer.
Just give everything you fancy a go and cross your fingers!Good luck

I've been comping since July last year, and I've won some nice things. The best thing was a box of ryvitas and £50 John Lewis gift card. That was through doing a comp that required a photo and they say those are easier to win it. I've been lucky with facebook, not really lucky with twitter. I try and give everything a bit of a go though, you never know
! One thing I've learnt though, is only enter for the things you would really really love to win. It might seem an obvious thing, but there are literally loads of new comps every day so you can afford to be a bit picky. Hope all that helps. My home page has a link to my comping blog, if you want to see my comping life (not totally glamorous lol)

I have been comping for many years I do few of every kind of comp dailies/twitter/web and creative. Hate fb though. My best win in 2014 was from a creative comp and was a weekend trip to Scotland and London with meal in the Shard. Fabulous but that sort of win is rareMake £2 a day challenge - doing well so far.0
