A friend on Facebook put a photo of the front page of Leicester Mercury on her board.
It has a great typical Daily Mail blowing things out of proportion headline 'sickness bug in Aldi'

A few ignorant people may abandon Aldi. The managers for the big 4 that have an Aldi nearby are probably not rubbing their hands.

Remember the number of customers stopped shopping in Tesco re horse meat? Even though they didn't buy any meat products. Maybe a similar thing
