Is Cosco really that cheap? Which SM is best?

We used to love this but since they changed the packaging, the quality seems a lot worse.
Went back to Keelex again now after using nothing but their own brand for ages.
Its still the same size, still triple layer but just not the same quality.jamie07971 wrote: »I rate Costco Kirkland Triple Satin toilet roll higher than the other brands they have on offer. More on the roll and better quality. It is never on special offer but I think it works out better value due to the amount on each roll.0 -
Use this for comparison
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/
They have put most items sold in major supermarkets for the purpuse of comparison
Here is costco stuff for instance:

You know Costco is the name of the store, not the item? That search isn't any use! You can check mysupermarket for an item (eg Heinz beans) and then check the price in store at Costco and compare.0 -
Costco is The Answer if you have storage, are happy to budget over a year for things & have the self discipline of a fakir.
Cross checking it to supermarkets is splendid & I found it usually beats supermarkets on weird things like neutrogena T gel shampoo (which is apparently the *only* shampoo my husband will use).
Right with you on the meat being delicious & almost worth a special trip.
I buy Persil in Huge Boxes there. Dashed brand habit, but the volumes I buy and use it in (three sons), it works for us.
They routinely paste the garages for tyre prices but I run Michelins out of faith not financial best practice.
When the lads were at Primary their Big Cakes made us one of the most popular families in school as there was Cake for Everyone - from head to caretaker, every pupil, teacher & assistant. They'd time the sugar rush so it peaked as we hiked home...0 -

When did I say Costco is an item ....
Mysupermarket is a comparison site comparing item price from various UK supermarkets. Here you could check an item and you could easily compare the price offer by other supermarket like for like using this comparison site.0 -
But there is no option to check against Costco on the site?I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

The search you linked to searched for Costco as an item, that is why I thought you mis-understood.
I've try mysupermarket but it seemed a pain on a mobile. Was quicker just to check Asda or Tesco sites directly as they are the most likely options I would buy from if I didn't get from Costco.0 -
First thing to learn about Costco is discipline !
Taken years for me to be able to go there with a list and only buy what's on it!
Most things are cheaper and better quilty, the Tin foil beats anything you can find in the UK as do the zip lock freezer bags, also handy for other mundane stuff like toilet roles.
Meat is good as well, although there was a time a few years ago when it went downhill and I stopped buying it. Now its good again
Like all things trick is to be informed on what things cost before you load your trolley!0
