I'm a recent member to this forum but have been comping for over a year after reading some of the threads on here this evening I'm shocked at the negativity towards others!

I thought comping was supposed to be fun!

Sadly this type of thing crops up every month or so Is best not to get involved and think of all the comps they are missing out on whilst they are bickering.

Yes it must look very strange to someone who is not aware of the background. Best to ignore it and try to never become visibly involved. I intend to take my own advice on that in future.

Actual comping isn't really fun most of the time you enter and that's it. You wait and occasionally you get a nice surprise. if you take adequate precautions you shouldn't get any nasty surprises but do be careful where you sign up to and remember we are all consenting adults.

A fair few long term forum users no longer chat on the Compers Chat Corner due to the trolling and nastiness.

Judging by the numbers of PM's I get from winners, peeps are reluctant to go public on IW IW IW too.
