Hi all, my bride to be is going crazy not being able to find any turquoise bridesmaid style dresses around at the moment (she needs 4) - does anyone have any idea what time of year this colour may come into season for weddings at all please?
Our wedding is in August. Thanks

Any of these in the BHS sale any good? Five styles and prices from £40 - £55."No matter how little money and how few possesions you own, having a dog makes you rich." - Louis Sabin0

Debenhams has this one but it's not the cheapest at £79 a pop: http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_008010411029_-1
To be honest whether it would come into shops is honestly going to depend on what the fashion trends are this year - but I'm guessing that it wouldn't be until the spring/summer fashions come out, which is likely to be any time between February/March and May if your fiancee can wait that long.
Otherwise, would she consider getting them made? My sister had a turquoise colour scheme for her wedding when I was her bridesmaid, and my dad's cousin made my bridesmaid's dress (which I think worked out at about £50 or so). It might also be worth trying bridal shops - those that stock bridesmaid dress brands like Dessy are likely to be able to get pretty much any colour you want, though obviously they will be more expensive than buying off the peg.
Finally, another option might be to buy white dresses in the style she wants and dye them."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Thanks both, BHS doesn't have the right colours unfortunately. She quite likes the Debut one from Debenhams thanks! She said she looked on Debenhams but didn't remember seeing that one.
We have thought about dying, but worried about how well/bad that might turn out so the idea made us both quite anxious to be honest!
I think we will hold off until the spring fashion and see what's about then. Thanks for your replies0 -
Does she have a style and length in mind? Also is the colour the bright blue turquoise or a darker shade? (I've seen what I would call teal, classed as dark turquoise).
Just thinking of pleas to search out bridesmaids dresses for daughter's wedding a few years back, as I had more time than her to look online, so I was told anyway! She sent me a photograph of the style she wanted, and I took it from there....it wasn't easy, but we got there.0
