Does anyone know the use by dates for the items in the hamper please.?
It'll vary from one item to another - but it's unusual to have 'use by' dates in hampers unless they are specifically sold as containing perishable products.
Most things are good for quite some time after the 'best before' date.0 -
If you are going to use the hamper, then it isn't bad value - similar sized hampers at Hobbycraft are £10.0

They are pretty rubbishy - much better to buy your own choice of items from a supermarket and put in a pretty box or gift bag.0

I recently ordered two food hampers and two wine hampers, these were sent in two boxes, one food one wine per box.
On delivery one box was okay the other half the size, stained and smelt of wine so I refused delivery.
I spent ages waiting to get through to BHS on the phone to eventually be told I would need to reorder the items (as they did not do automatic issue of damaged returned items) and wait for a refund, I chose not to reorder and wait for my money back, I also emailed to confirm that what the info I had given about the damaged was recorded on my account, it took them 3 days to reply.
Over a week later a courier delivered a new package, puzzled as BHS said they do not automatically issue a replacement I opened the box to find the food hamper intact and the wine hamper smelling of wine and had loads of broken glass inside (1 of 4 bottle had broken).
I took pictures an emailed BHS, I have to say I got a prompt reply and was told the courier had just re boxed the items on return to their depot!!! I was told I would be refunded for both items.
I basically ended up with the 4 hampers (minus 1 bottle) that should have been £90 for £20.
As none of these were intended as actual gifts, bought more for the sale price of the actual hampers (baskets) and the storage boxes (from the wine ) items. Happy with the end but prices but less than happy with the courier / delivery service and have to say that I ask myself why I shop with BHS (& Debenhams) on line as I always have issues with orders and say never again, but then hope when I spot a bargain that maybe this order will be okay!Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
