finding a job and training

hi,ive been off work with cronic pain following a mastectomy,and i would like to go back in the not too distant future,the only thing is i was doing a manual job before and wouldnt be able to do it again,is there a way i can train while being on IB or is that daft?

Highly likely. The Govt is keen to get people off long term sick and back to work and as such, the Jobcentre has a huge raft of schemes from training to contributing towards your wages. There's also additional benefits and incentives they can offer you to go back to work as well.
Book an appointment with an advisor at your local Jobcentre to see what's on offer.0 -

Don't be surprised if they look gobsmacked when you tell them. They're so used to people trying to find any way to avoid going back to work that someone on IB coming up to them and asking them for help to get back catches them off guard.
