Does my partner have to supply bank statements/wage slips

Tried googling this but cant find it anywhere.
I am applying for a mortgage in my name only. (Sole) my partner lives with me but wont be on the mortgage as she has adverse credit. She has been helping me with the deposit. Even though she will not be applying with me, does she still have to prove bank statements and wage slips? Will mortgage advisor ask for them?
Thanks

You will run into issues if your applying and the deposit is yours and hers.
If she is going to be living there she will have a financial interest in the property and most lenders I believe will want to know why she isn't going on the mortgage.
I'm sure someone more qualified will be able to answer your queries but that's from what I understand.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 0650 -
If your partner is party to the deposit then this does pose an issue. As in effect gives them a financial interest in the property.
You cannot opt in or opt out to parts of the mortgage application as you wish. In order to circumnavigate the rules.0 -

Some lenders won't lend where someone will contribute to the deposit and reside in the property but won't be party to the purchase nor mortgage.
Ensure your broker is aware of this to enable them to select the correct lender at the outset.I am a mortgage broker.
