    Im not sure that it technically true, I paid of 2 PDL companies with my credit card & then shifted them to a 0% balance transfer card...

    I may just try that as I think that may be the best option. Can't hurt to try!

    My mum isn't worried about it, as even though she is a guarantor, she has never had to pay, nor would I ever let her pay.

    She possibly could lend me the money, but as a retired person with my dad in and out of care homes, that's not a discussion I wish to burden her with. At the moment she doesn't have to worry about it at all.
