Do any lenders allow debt consolidation when re-mortgaging?

Hi
I have just become single and although ex is on the mortgage he never paid the mortgage or any household bills and is saying he will happily sign over the equity in the house.
Whilst doing this I want to re-mortgage, possibly go fixed and consolidate my CC debt and get some work done on the house. Is that possible?
House Value - £120K approx.
Mortgage - £22K
CC Debt = £10K
Lots of equity that would more than cover what I want to borrow but I don't know if lenders allow you to do that anymore
