decent sub £50 tablet from carphone warehouse

Just bought this tablet for £49 for my wife to take on holiday.

Have to say, i am really impressed, and for the price i dont think you can go wrong.

    No it's not - the other one has got a 1280x800 screen like most of these cheapie Windows tablets have - this one is only 1024*600, which is pretty poor.

    I'm not very techy, is the consensus that this is pretty good? Also is Win 8 easy to use? (I've never used it before). Thanks

    Windows 8 (actually 8.1 now) = good
    That tablet = not good. The Linx ones that were going for £60 a while ago were better if you can find them. Exception - if you're going to be plugging in a mouse, keyboard and monitor to it, you'll not be worried about the sub-standard screen, and the graphical capabilities are as good as the other tablets.
