ill keep you up to date, maybe post again monday morn, can see the ifa say your wife signed the plan, tough.

like i said 2016 wont make any diff, ifa can use commission after 2016, same as at present.
if she stops, wonder about the first year set up plan fee, shes paying up to, will ifa hold her to that.

No he can't. If the staging date is in 2016 the company must enforce a pension scheme under the new charging rules by this date.

The 50% IFA commission can no longer be taken because that charging structure fails under AE.

This is why most people are suggesting to cancel contributions (or reduce them to the minimum level by which the company pay 1%) and contribute this money into an ISA.
  • Doesn't matter what she signed, she can just stop paying. Nothing the ifa can do about it, they have no contract with her

dropped payment to 1% till new rules in april 2016, then no yeary ifa fee or 12 months 50% increase either. but if i want advice after that date it be hourly via the ifa.

so check to see if ur auto enrolment is an old or new employer plan, if old look out for these fees folks. although you do get to see uf ifa anytime to discuss ur portfolio, as u dont if its a modern cheap one with ur employer,
